Greenmeadows Rotary Club member Alan White is cycling from North Cape to Bluff as a personal challenge and Rotary centennial fundraising project.
Alan set out on February 8, and as part of Tour Aotearoa 2021, is cycling the 3000km Te Araroa Trail from Cape Reinga to Bluff. The trail, established by the Kennet brothers in 2016, is a combination of cycle trails, beaches, tracks and paths connected by a mix of sealed and shingle roads. All 237 cyclists this year are required to donate a minimum of $100 to charity.

$250,000 reward announcement after suspicious death of Jason Guise
A $250,000 reward has been announced to help solve the 2019 suspicious death of Jason Barry Guise.
Jason was last seen on Charlotte Street, Wynnum on April 21, 2019 when he visited a food truck before returning to his Wynnum address on Bride Street sometime after 8pm.
He was reported missing on May 2, 2019 by his roommate.
On the May 8, 2019 Jason’s body was located in a pit within a sewage treatment plant at Wynnum.
The last known confirmed sighting of Jason was around 7.20pm on April 21, 2019 riding a bicycle past the Waterloo Hotel on Berrima Street Wynnum.
